An ancient Greek spartan, Helena was once a princess, set to take over her father's kingdom as queen, but a coo derails her birthright, and she becomes a priestess to Hera.
One day, Zeus takes an interest in Helena. Much to his displeasure, Helena does not reciprocate; in self-preservation, Helena flees her patron Goddess' temple. As a response, Hera conceals Helena in a ceremonial vase, and the ever-so-fickle Olympian leaves her trapped indefinitely. (Thanks a lot, Zeus.) In the 1920s, Helena's magic prison was unearthed by archeologists, and she was unintentionally free. One of those archeologists was M. Millicent. The two have a tumultuous relationship. However, Helena is often credited as Millicent's muse. The two spilt in 1970s.
Although transported into the modern world, she still likes to reminisce about old times and enjoy modern fashions and cultures. She was blown away by the iPhone and Amazon. She lives in a villa in Italy in modern times, and sometimes she still dresses in traditional Grecian clothes, which causes her neighbors to think she is REALLY into larping.
